Equine-Assisted
Somatic Coaching
Horse-guided experiences, programs, and training that help people get out of their heads and into their bodies—where real clarity, connection, and change actually happen.

You’ve probably tried to think your way through whatever brought you here. Most people do. They journal, they talk, they set goals, they make plans — and still find themselves circling the same patterns, because the thing that’s stuck is not just a thought. It lives in the body.
Horses do not listen to explanations. They read nervous systems. They feel tension before you are fully aware of it, mirror hesitation before you have named it, and respond to what is actually happening in your body — not just the story you are telling about it.
That is what makes this work different. We do not start with performance, pressure, or pretending. We start with the body: what it is holding, what it is protecting, and what it already knows. The horse makes that process visible, immediate, and honest.
Whether you are here for personal coaching, professional training, or something you cannot quite name yet, the foundation is the same: honest feedback from the horse, embodied learning, and the kind of change that happens in the body first.

What Clients and Students Say
“You are redefining what horsemanship is for sure. This journey is more than a journey — it is a new beginning in many ways.”
— Wendy
"What excites me so much about this program is that it includes all of the elements that are most important to me. There's relational awareness and exploration of the self, the horse, the environment, and the cohort.
There's mindfulness and psychological awareness and exploration. There's biomechanics and equine science and psychology, and there's the most progressive horse training conversations that I've personally encountered."
Cara Gerau, LMFT, Equine Psychotherapist, Founder: Somatic Therapy of Marin

"I highly recommend it! It was a very rich learning experience and the cohort offered a great environment with other eager learning, horse loving riders.
Learning groundwork really built trust in my horse towards me and bettered our relationship! It's amazing how even a small amount of intentional ground work make a big impact on my relationship"
